Stanford University, B.S., Symbolic Systems: Human-Computer Interaction

Symbolic Systems is an interdisciplinary major spanning Computer Science, Psychology, Linguistics, and Philosophy. It’s famously the major of many banner names in tech, such as LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, Instagram co-founder Mike Krieger, and early Google employee / former Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer.

Many of my more intelligent peers went on to graduate school and august appointments in academia, where they are pursuing research in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and other fields to produce exciting advancements for the benefit of our species. I went into building internet businesses.
